On Sunday October 15th 2006, an earthquake occurred off the coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Except for a temporary power outage, there has been no disruption of service at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott and we are welcoming guests as usual. Although airlines and airport services have resumed normal schedules, guests are advised to check with their airline for the latest scheduling update. Work includes the addition of a new grand ballroom, full-service spa and serenity pool, renovation of the fitness center, guest rooms, lobby and restaurant plus upgrades to the existing pool area, hotel entrance and porte cochere.
