** About the Resort ** Voted as one of Canada's Best Value Golf, Rodd Mill River Resort is a full service Resort located in Mill River Provincial Park in Western Prince Edward Island only 25 minutes from Summerside, 45 minutes from the Confederation Bridge, and 90 minutes from Charlottetown. The 3.5 Star Resort has 90 large guestrooms and a variety of suites each with views of Mill River Golf Course and Mill River Provincial Park. Each guestroom features movie channels and VCR and Nintendo rentals. The Hernwood Dining room and club-on-the green lounge overlook the golf course and offer patio dining. The dining room features excellent dining with many traditional PEI dishes including seafood available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. ** About our On-Site Activities ** Rodd Mill River Resort is a true golf destination with the acclaimed Mill River golf course located on-site. This challenging course was voted within the top 50 golf courses in Canada in 98. Guests will also enjoy the excellent practice facilities on site. Inside, guests will enjoy our 90 M. indoor pool, kiddies pool. 90 FT. Waterslide, sauna, whirlpool, squash courts, fitness centre, exercise classes, and spa services such as massage, manicures, and other treatments. Outside, adventure awaits with canoeing, kayaking, biking and Mill River Family Adventure Park located on-site with outdoor water park, bumper boats, mini golf and much more. Our Recreation Director offers scheduled recreation programs for all ages and will work with groups to co-ordinate special group activities on request. Golf and Soft adventure packages are available. ** About our Winter Programs ** Rodd Mill River Resort is Atlantic Canada's family winter resort destination. Enjoy 10 KM of lighted Cross Country Ski Trails, lighted outdoor skating rink, lighted toboggan and tubing hill, and horse and sleigh rides. Toboggans, tubes and ski rental equipment is available. Familys will enjoy our scheduled outdoor bonfires, snow sculpture contests and supervised kids programs and kids playrooms. Winter family getaways and romance pacckages are available. ** Anout our Conference Facilities ** Rodd Mill River Resort offers a resort retreat for groups up to 250 banquet style with 9 meeting rooms to choose from. Many of our rooms offer natural light and views of t he grounds of the resort. Groups will enjoy all the activities on-site, and we should be happy to work with you to co-ordinate special theme meals such as lobster boils and steak barbeques, perhaps in our private Hunter Duvar House located on the 10th hole of Mill River golf course.
