06/08/2007 - 06/10/2007 Grand Prix of Canada. Formula 1 racing in Montreal at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on the man-made island, Ile Notre-Dame. Note: In August 2007, NASCAR goes to Montreal for the inaugural NASCAR Busch Series race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

The Pocono Raceway is located south and west of the junction of 80 and 380, just north of 115.. If viewing the Poconos hotels map, it is west of Mt Pocono and East of Lake Harmony.
06/15/07 - 06/17/07 84th Loudon Classic (motorcycle race) at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, NH. This is not the NASCAR Nextel Race. Infineon Raceway is located in wine country, just south of Sonoma California, near the junction of 121 and 37, about 30 minutes north of the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge. Plan for much more time in traffic on race day. Cities/towns with hotels near Infineon Raceway inbclude:
07/01/2007 New Hampshire International Speedway
In 2006, the Nextel Series race in Loudon was on 7/16. In 2007, it is on 7/1. Those who wish to explore this beautiful region of New Hampshire might want to see the 84th Annual motorcycle races, the weekend of June 17th, and culminate their vacation with the Nextel race on 7/1. Note: Some may enjoy Lake Winnepesaukee and Weirs Beach so much that they will want to stay until after the 4th of July.
NH Speedway is located just north of Loudon on Rte 106. Interstate 93 gets you close and from there, just follow the signs from Rte 93. If you want to see an aerial view of the speedway, use the Loudon hotels map in hybrid mode and zoom in on the area north of Loudon. Concord, the state capital, and several small towns in the area also offer accomodations close to Loudon. The Loudon International Speedway is also home to popular motorcycle races which take place during the Laconia Motorcycle Rally in June of each year. In its’ 83rd year, the 2006 Laconia Rally is one of the oldest motorcycle rallies in North America. Traditionally, after the races, the bikers would head up to Weirs Beach, on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. Bikers still continue that tradition. If you have a few days to enjoy New Hampshire, Lake Winnipesaukee is absolutely beautiful, as are the White Mountains and Franconia Notch to the north.

07/15/2007 Chicagoland Speedway
In 2006, the Nextel Series race at Chicagoland Speedway was on 7/9.
Chicagoland Speedway is located in Joliet, southwest of Chicago, just south of Joliet Illinois. On the Joliet hotels map, you can see where the track is by switching to hybrid mode and zooming in, just below Joliet, between routes 53 and 52.. The best plan is to stay at one of the Joliet hotels and drive south to Chicagoland Speedway.

Kansas Speedway 6/30 - 7/2, Not Nextel cup series, but a great weekend for racing at Kansas City. Races include a 250 mile truck series, and a 300 mile Indycar series race. For more info about Kansas Speedway, see below for the weekend of October 1.

- There are many Richmond hotels to choose from. To find the closest hotels to Richmond International Raceway, use the Richmond Hotels Map. To locate the Richmond International Raceway on the map, select hybrid mode. The track is north of the city, just east of 95, and north of Route 64, (64 is the route to Williamsburg, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach). If you zoom in, you should be able to see the oval shape of the track, located off Laburnum Ave.
- If you want to stay close to the track, but on the outskirts of the city, Mechanicsville VA is a very good choice in terms of location.
- To the east of the track is Richmond National Battlefield Park.
